this painting is of and old rodeo cowboy, who doesn't want to give up, just one more ride, his face shows the years gone by that he has been in the arena, his eyes show the hurt and pain he has met, you can feel his pain.

Born in San Diego, California in 1936, I grew up with a fasination for Art, it has always held my interest and always those great 19th century Impressionist painters. from 1888 to 1890 Vincent painted his greatest paintings...........in his letters to his brother Theo he wrote he wanted the painters of the future to advance his theory of line and color, I have now after 60 years of studying his way's , it will be Van Gogh Continued, all my works will carry on his way, some of his motifs and some of mine, no one can copy Vincent, its impossible but in our own way we can paint his way.
